Caring for the Carer - The Care Workers' Charity
The Care Workers' Charity (CWC) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to championing the vital role care workers play in society — a contribution that too often goes unrecognised.
To show our support, we've made a structural commitment: a share of new care sector business will go directly to the Charity. That means as our care community grows, so does the support for the people who make care possible.
Driving Positive Change for Carers
The Care Workers' Charity recognises the strain care workers face in their line of work.
To help address this, the CWC have published guides and resources on a range of issues care workers are facing to help them manage work-related stress; they have partnered with Red Umbrella to provide free counselling sessions with qualified therapists, and are delivering Mental Health First Aider training to care workers.
We are pleased to work with the Care Workers' Charity as a sponsor, and we recognise how the lack of resources and proper funding can affect the workforce, and so by collaborating with the Care Workers' Charity, we aim to help bridge this gap and support their essential efforts.
Standing Behind the People Who Care for Others
The Access Group has made a structural, long-term financial commitment to the Care Workers' Charity, because the people who dedicate their lives to caring for others deserve to know that someone is caring for them too.
Every time a new care provider joins Access, a share of that business flows directly to the Care Workers' Charity, funding crisis grants, mental health support, and advocacy for the very workforce that provider depends on.

The values and goals we share with the CWC have grown into a strong partnership. From skydiving fundraisers and CWC’s yearly writing competition to quarterly quizzes and coffee pop-ups, we have raised thousands for the charity and are committed to continuing these efforts year after year.

How does the Commitment Work?
A transparent mechanism that ties our growth directly to the wellbeing of the care workforce. When a care organisation chooses Access software to run their service, the partnership is activated. A portion of that new business is automatically committed to the Care Workers' Charity with no separate fundraising required. Funds are used for crisis grants, free counselling, mental health training, and advocacy for frontline care workers. The annual contribution scales with Access's performance in the care sector.
