Safety induction training
This safety induction training covers safety at work, fire safety and safety signs, different types of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and correct safety monitoring.
The aim is to help reduce the number of accidents and injuries in the workplace and to promote good attitudes amongst the staff.

Safety induction training course content
- Introduction - This section will cover what induction safety is, the applicable legislation surrounding induction safety and important safety procedures.
- Safety at work - This section will cover the importance of safe practice, risk and hazards at work and important safety signs.
- Fire safety - This section will cover what you should and should not do in an emergency situation and how you can use good housekeeping practices to reduce the risk of a fire.
- PPE - This section will cover what PPE is, the different types of PPE and the legal requirements surrounding PPE.
- Safety monitoring - This section will cover what safety monitoring is, what welfare measures your work should have in place and some important points to remember.
How the course works
Induction Safety is delivered online as an interactive course to each trainee on their computers, or portable device at any internet enabled location. The interactive course is engaging, informative and exciting to use.
Using up-to-date, modern graphical images, users will be faced with a selection of interactive elements and mini quizzes to test their knowledge.
Users will receive informative advice and guidance and will be tested on their understanding of the subject at the end of the course by completing the compulsory self-test element.
This course also features a risk checklist which asks the user a series of questions relating to their current working environment.
