Introducing our Partner: Engaging Dementia
Founded in 1990, Engaging Dementia is a leading Irish charity delivering accredited, evidence-based training for healthcare professionals and family carers, running a nationwide Dementia Café Network, and hosting Ireland's foremost annual dementia conference. The charity was named as the Official GAA Charity Partner for 2026, reflecting its growing national reach and public profile.
Why we partner
Through the partnership, both organisations aim to increase public and sector-wide dementia awareness, support care workers through shared resources and training, and expand the reach of Engaging Dementia's activity-based resources and specialist training across care settings in Ireland.
Joint activities are already under way, with plans spanning dementia awareness campaigns, sector events, webinars, and employee volunteering and fundraising throughout 2026.
This partnership allows us to extend the reach of our specialist training and activity-based resources, while collaborating with a team that truly understands the value of community-driven impact. Together, we look forward to creating meaningful change across care settings throughout Ireland.
