The Challenge
Harrow Green found the level of reporting they had wasn’t great, and due to the accuracy of their data, the whole reporting process was very time-consuming. Scott Dudley, Finance Director at Harrow Green, explains, “In my role to be successful and accurate information on a timely basis, that stands up to scrutiny by our auditors and reports that we can put into the business, deliver to our branch managers so that they can then make decisions on that, and we move the business forward. To put it simply he said, “Everything was very difficult”.

We wouldn’t be able to pass that information over to our customers, and our clients. And therefore, we wouldn’t be in the class of business that we are in today,” Scott continued.

Scott described how they’re using all the data, “Access Financials really helps us find patterns within that data and through trends analysis we’re able to do comparisons and multi-period comparisons as well. We do a lot of work around our reporting making sure that that gives us good information.”
Everything within Harrow Green is based on reporting and making the numbers work. As part of a large PLC they must have a very detailed level of information otherwise the success of the business would struggle.
I would recommend Access Financials, it’s a very intuitive system, very straightforward, and easy to use. We also enjoy working with Access. We’ve got an account manager, who I have built up a very good rapport with. So, if I do have any issues it’s very quick and easy to pick up the phone to him, or email him, and they respond very quickly.
