On-Demand Sync: As donations are received in Donorfy, they're sent to Xero as 'Receive Money' transactions. This means every donation is recorded accurately, and quickly.
Smart Coding: Each 'Receive Money' item is automatically coded according to your predefined mapping in Donorfy. This includes matching income codes with corresponding accounts, inventory items, bank accounts, and Zero tracking codes.

What are the benefits of the Donorfy + Xero integration?
Donorfy sends transactions directly to Xero as Receive Money items, with payment processing fees included as a separate line, so your accounts stay accurate without manual re-keying. You stay in control of what gets sent and when, with a preview before anything is posted to Xero.
Is the data sync automatic?
No, it's on-demand, and that's by design. You initiate the sync manually from the Financial menu in Donorfy, so you can review exactly what will be sent before it goes to Xero. This helps avoid errors and keeps your finance team in control.
Which Donorfy plan includes the Xero integration?
The Xero integration is available on the Professional and Enterprise plans.
Does the integration write data back to Donorfy from Xero?
No. The integration is one-directional: Donorfy sends transaction data to Xero, but nothing is written back from Xero to Donorfy.
