What are the benefits of the Donorfy + Stripe integration?
Stripe lets your donors give securely by debit or credit card. Payments made through your Donorfy campaign donation pages, Donation forms, memberships and web widgets then integrate with Donorfy, with payment references added for easy reconciliation.
Is Stripe available on both the Essentials and Professional plans?
Yes! Stripe works with campaign donation pages and donation forms on both plans.
Memberships and Web Widgets are only available on the Professional plan, so if you'd like to unlock those and you're using or considering Essentials, chat to us for help getting set up.
How does donor data stay up to date in Donorfy?
Every payment made through your Donorfy forms is matched against existing constituents (or used to create a new one) and added to Donorfy automatically, so there's no manual re-keying and no missed donations.
Will payments made directly in Stripe show up in Donorfy?
Not automatically. Payments from Stripe Plans or third-party sources, like an online store, sit outside Donorfy and need to be downloaded from Stripe and added using the Donations Upload Template.
Does Donorfy also integrate with GoCardless?
It does! If your supporters prefer to give by Direct Debit, GoCardless is a popular choice alongside Stripe for setting up simple, reliable recurring donations.
