The launch

Adare International – who was acquired by HH Global in 2021 – went live with Access Personalised Learning in 2016. Since the acquisition, HH Global has rolled out and launched Access Personalised Learning globally to all employees.

To ensure a successful launch, HH Global appointed a ‘super user’ to oversee the process in each region, to ensure that the career development platform was tailored and set up to meet each region’s requirements.

Email communications went out to inform employees about the investment including details of how to access the system. A video was created to explain the platform which was hosted on the platform itself.

We encouraged employees to go and explore the eLearning content and quizzes. We’ve had some great feedback about how informative and varied the content is.

The solution

Access Personalised Learning – branded and referred to as ‘MyPathway’ internally – is currently being used to host learning materials, as an information portal, as well as a career enhancement platform.

As well as including 5,000+ videos, eLearning assets, articles and interactive personal and professional development assessments which are accessible 24/7, Access Personalised Learning has been branded and configured to meet the local and global needs of HH Global.

Via the career development platform, HH Global has been able to:

  • Promote development opportunities to encourage employees to take ownership of their personal and professional progression;
  • Signpost career development resources and training in a private environment;
  • Highlight internal vacancies;
  • Offer a range of training to employees, from data security to health and safety, which can be reported on, broken down by region;
  • Enhance employees’ knowledge and skills on internal systems and processes;
  • Raise awareness of mental health in the workplace and career wellbeing.

Since launching Access Personalised Learning, HH Global has taken advantage of the eLearning and career development content and resources being in one place, whereas prior, the business had multiple.

HH Global has also been working with the Access People team to convert and upload their own content to Access Personalised Learning, in addition to the eLearning assets which are updated on a weekly basis.

Access Personalised Learning is aligning our global teams, aiming for everyone doing the same thing, in the same way, which is extremely beneficial to the business,” says Thomas.

Through the career development platform, HH Global has launched numerous sustainability training courses, Pride Awareness for their Europe, India, Middle East and Africa (EIMEA) region, and their annual compliance training for new and existing employees.

HH Global has been able to tailor and adapt their annual compliance training with Access Personalised Learning to ensure the business is meeting international regulations, as they differ slightly from region to region.

They have also been able to coordinate the annual compliance training, so that all employees complete the training before a specified date, rather than annually in line with the individual’s start date. This means that from the specified date, all training data can be exported in one report from Access Personalised Learning.
