HCSS Accounting has been rebranded to Access Education Finance - An intuitive financial management solution for schools and multi-academy trusts
HCSS Budgeting
HCSS Budgeting has been rebranded to Access Education Budgeting. We are the market leaders for school budgeting software in the UK, working with over 9,000 schools, academies and Multi-Academy Trusts to help increase their financial visibility.
HCSS People
HCSS People has been rebranded to Access Education People. Access Education People is designed to streamline and simplify the process and help you become more efficient and compliant.
HCSS SEND Funding
HCSS SEND Funding has been rebranded to Access Education SEND. Special school and academies have unique financial management needs. Access Education SEND has been designed to allow you to make complex income calculations for robust financial planning.
HCSS Curriculum
HCSS Curriculum has been rebranded to Access Education Curriculum. A strategic staffing and curriculum resource planner developed in association with ASCL.
HCSS Assets
HCSS Assets has been rebranded to Access Education Finance.
Timeline
2015
HCSS Education was acquired in December 2015 as a very successful education software organisation focused primarily on high quality education budgeting software to support maintained schools, academies and multi academy trusts.
A key differentiator was the education specific functionality and design supported by education experts in the field – offering training, support and bespoke consultancy services.
2016
In 2016, HCSS Education as part of The Access Group, launched a new product HCSS Accounting – the need for a more complete finance package had become increasingly relevant to the growing number of academies and multi academy trust organisations.
As schools convert to academies, one of the biggest changes they go through is taking over full financial accountability for the running of their school – this requires accountancy software, however the intricacies of school financial management – different pay grades, complex salary and pension requirements, DfE budgets etc – means that standard accountancy packages can be hard to use – HCSS Accounting offers all the benefits of a full accountancy package, tailored to Education.
2017
In 2017, The Access Group then acquired Selima – offering intuitive cloud-based HR Software and connected payroll service, Selima specialised in providing solutions for the hospitality and education sectors – Selima for Education became HCSS People.
2018
On 12th November 2018, HCSS Education formally re-branded to Access Education, aligning fully under The Access Group brand.
