QikServe

Serve more customers faster with a Self-Ordering Kiosk

QikServe Kiosks are in-venue self-service ordering terminals that let guests browse your full menu, customise their order, and pay at the terminal without speaking to a member of staff. Your front-of-house team is freed for higher-value tasks. Your kitchen receives orders the moment they are placed. And your venue handles more covers per hour without adding headcount.

Everything you need to handle high order volumes without the queues.

Self service kiosk for restaurants

Guests browse your full menu, customise their order and pay at the terminal without staff involvement. Every order is placed accurately, at the guest’s own pace, without anyone waiting in line.

Reduce queues and front-of-house pressure

Route guests to self-service during busy periods and free your team from the counter. Your front-of-house staff handle the tasks that need a human touch. The kiosk handles the volume.

Upsell and modifier prompts

Automated upsell and cross-sell suggestions appear at the point of ordering, every time. Highlighted specials, add-ons and meal deal upgrades are presented consistently to every guest, increasing average transaction value without any staff effort.

Rich menu customisation

Detailed modifier and preference flows handle complex, multi-stage menus with accuracy. Guests choose exactly what they want without ambiguity, and every customisation is captured correctly first time.

Direct kitchen integration

Orders placed at the kiosk route directly to the kitchen the moment a guest confirms. No manual re-entry, no relay through a staff member, no delays during peak service. Preparation starts immediately.

Fully branded touchscreen experience

The kiosk screen reflects your brand. Your menu photography, your colour scheme, your upsell logic. Guests experience a consistent, on-brand interaction at every terminal across every venue.

One dedicated ordering point for every guest, every time.

During peak service, the bottleneck isn't the kitchen. It's the moment between a guest arriving and an order being placed. Counter staff manage queues, repeat orders, handle cash and answer questions simultaneously. Every second spent taking an order manually is a second not spent on preparation, service quality or the next guest.

QikServe Kiosks put a dedicated ordering surface at every service point. Guests step up, browse the full menu at their own pace, customise exactly what they want, and pay. The interaction is complete before they reach your team. Your counter staff focus on fulfilment, not order-taking. Your kitchen receives accurate orders the moment they are placed. And your venue serves the next guest without breaking stride.

Common questions about self-ordering kiosks

What is a self-ordering kiosk?

A self-ordering kiosk is an in-venue touchscreen terminal that lets guests browse a menu, customise their order, and pay without staff involvement. QikServe Kiosks are the only product in the QikServe suite that uses in-venue hardware rather than the guest’s own device. They are designed for QSR, fast casual, and high-footfall venues where throughput and speed are the priority.

Do self-ordering kiosks increase average order value?

Yes. QikServe Kiosks display automated upsell and cross-sell prompts at the point of ordering for every guest, every time. Highlighted specials, add-ons, and meal deal upgrades are presented consistently, without relying on staff to suggest them. Guests ordering at their own pace on a kiosk consistently consider more options than guests ordering under pressure at a counter.

How do kiosk orders reach the kitchen?

Orders placed at a QikServe Kiosk route directly to the kitchen the moment a guest confirms. There is no manual re-entry and no relay through a staff member. Your kitchen receives the order immediately, with all customisations captured exactly as the guest selected them, so preparation can begin without delay.

Can kiosks handle complex menus with modifiers and customisations?

Yes. QikServe Kiosks support detailed modifier and preference flows for complex, multi-stage menus. Guests work through customisation options step by step on the touchscreen, selecting sizes, extras, and add-ons. Every choice is captured accurately and passed to the kitchen exactly as the guest intended.

What hardware do we need for kiosks?

QikServe runs on standard Windows kiosk hardware available through Access's third-party hardware partners. Hardware can be purchased outright (CapEx) or on a monthly subscription through Hardware as a Service, which includes maintenance and support. Screens, tablets and mounting solutions are all available. Your account manager will confirm the right hardware model during scoping.

What is the difference between a self-ordering kiosk and QR code ordering?

QikServe Kiosks are in-venue hardware terminals. Guests use the kiosk screen to order and pay. No guest device is required QikServe Order & Pay is a web-based platform accessed via QR code on the guest’s own smartphone. Guests browse the menu and pay from their phone Kiosks suit high-footfall venues where guests may not have their phone to hand or where speed at the counter is the priority. Order & Pay suits table service, dine-in, and click and collect scenarios. If you are unsure which fits your operation, our team can help when you book a demo.
