What health and safety training is mandatory in the UK?
Mandatory health and safety training is a legal requirement for every UK employer. The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974, Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992, Fire Safety Order 2005 and First Aid Regulations 1981, among others, set out the minimum obligations. Requirements vary by role and sector.
