What Digital Waste Tracking Software Does
Digital waste tracking software records every waste movement and submits it electronically to DEFRA’s Digital Waste Tracking service, replacing paper waste transfer notes and hazardous waste consignment notes. From October 2026, receiving site operators in England and Wales are required to report digitally, with Scotland and Northern Ireland following from January 2027.
