How long does it take to implement medication management?

What do I need to think about before implementing?

    To ensure a successful implementation and efficient and safe medication management, the pharmacy provider needs to understand the technology you use, support you during the transition, and provide high-quality pharmacy services moving forward.  

 

  • Chosen Technology
    For example, do you have a strong and consistent WIFI connection across your sites, or will you require a native offline capacity? Do you need your medication system to integrate with your care planning application? 
     
How much time can I save using your solution?

The key consideration when implementing Access Medication Management should be safety. However, the application will make your medication processes more efficient, helping to ensure compliance with your medication processes.

Do I need to change Pharmacies to use your medication management system?

No, not unless you want to. Access Medication Management is the most flexible EMAR tool on the market. It integrates with all national pharmacy providers (Boots, Lloyds & Well Pharmacy) as well as a range of independent pharmacy providers.  

 

We can also integrate with your pharmacy of choice if we don't already work with them. A simple introduction will enable us to get them on board and ready to support your project.  

Do you charge per user of your system?

No. To make our pricing as simple as possible, we charge a single, small fee per registered bed per month. This fee covers all our costs, including implementation, software & support.

 

Meaning it's easy for you to work out the costs of implementing our applications as a small per cent of your income per bed, with no surprise fees or high setup costs.  

Can you access the software if the internet goes down?

Medication administration is a critical task that must always be available for residents. Access Medication Management features a full offline capacity, meaning staff can focus on medication administration regardless of connectivity.

 

Once a connection is re-established, the system automatically sync all the entered data without requiring manual syncing or docking devices.  

Can you set different user permissions?

Yes, Access Medication Management features full role-based security, ensuring staff can only access the functionality and information relevant to their roles and that the system is easy to use and navigate. This configuration is covered as part of our implementation process & can then be done by you whenever they need to be adjusted or changed.  

How are care plans and medication integrated?
