The Co-operative Bank and Access People named Payroll Project of the Year at 2021 CIPP Awards
The Co-operative Bank and Access People have been awarded Payroll Project of the Year at the CIPP Annual Excellence Awards 2021. The long-running, prestigious awards seek to recognise the crucial role that payroll and pensions play in the UK economy.
The Co-operative Bank and Access People joined forces in 2020, when the bank selected Access People to provide its PeopleXD payroll services and integrated PeopleXD HCM system for its 3,200 employees. The project aimed to achieve a minimum 40% reduction in total cost of ownership and smoother payroll systems. This target was not only met, but well exceeded – with £1 million per annum savings in systems and services costs achieved.

The Payroll Project of the Year award is the second honour that Access People has received in one month, after being recognised as a ‘Core Leader’ in the Fosway 9-Grid™ for Cloud HR in early October.
