Neighbourhood Care Guide

The NHS is trying to reduce the pressure on hospitals and GP surgeries alike – pressures causing sizeable waiting lists – as well as striving to cut costs and improve accessibility.  The NHS 10-Year Plan established by the government, and based on the Darzi Report, seeks to deliver more personalised, accessible, and sustainable healthcare – and they see Neighbourhood Care as a big part of this shift in priorities.

Neighbourhood care wants to bring together siloed instances of care: to better integrate services to deliver more to the local community.
