Events Manager Interactive Preview
One dashboard, replacing four tabs
Previously, admins were managing events across four separate tabs, adding unnecessary steps to a routine task. The new Events Manager brings everything into a single dashboard, replacing the old four-tab experience.
The Events Manager dashboard
Rather than four tabs pulling you in different directions, everything now lives on one page.
At a glance:
- Active events
- Total waitlist registration
- Attendance rate
- Active instructors this month
Current & upcoming events, surfaced
No digging required. Each card shows event type, status, audience, date, location and a progress bar towards capacity.
A calendar that works how you'd expect
Think Google Calendar — click a date to see what's running, or click an empty date to create an event.
Part of this wider release
The remaining areas of Events Manager are still in development and will be released to Beta as they're completed.
A redesigned four-step event creation wizard
- A guided flow for building events, replacing the current multi-tab process.
Two new event types
- Hybrid events — mixed in-person and virtual attendees.
- Multi-session events — one event containing multiple sessions taking place across different days. Think of an induction with three sessions: health and safety on day one, compliance on day two, and a systems walkthrough on day three.
First Look: The Events Portal
Want to see where all this is heading? Catch up on our exclusive first look at the finished Events Portal — one dashboard, one creation wizard, and every event type in one place, including hybrid.
A pre-recorded, end-to-end walkthrough of the finished experience, followed by a live Q&A with the team behind it.
- Held: Thu 16 April, 11am
- Format: Pre-recorded & live Q&A
- Speakers: Kirstie Coetzee & Jack Occleshaw
How the rollout works
This is an incremental Beta release, not an overnight switch. If you're already part of the Early Adopter Programme, the dashboard rolls out to you automatically.
Please note: this is the first release of an incremental Beta, and the quality of the feature will reflect that. The remaining areas of Events Manager are still in development and will be released to Beta as they're completed.
Frequently asked questions
Why do event details still open the old UI?
The dashboard is the first part of Events Manager to reach Beta. Links through to individual events take you to the current UI while the remaining areas are still in development.
What are hybrid and multi-session events?
Hybrid events mix in-person and virtual attendees. Multi-session events are one event containing several sessions across different days, like a three-day induction.
When will the rest of Events Manager be available?
There's no fixed date yet. Each area — starting with the creation wizard — is released to Beta as it's completed, progressively replacing the current UI.
Do I need to do anything to get access?
No. If you're part of the Early Adopter Programme on Access LMS Hub or Access LMS², the dashboard rolls out to you automatically over the two weeks from 09 June 2026.
What's the difference between a multi-session event and a series?
A multi-session event is one event delivered across several sessions, usually on different days — learners register once and attend every session to complete it, like a first aid course covering bandaging, CPR, then manual handling. A series is a collection of separate, standalone events grouped under one broader programme, like a leadership programme spanning several topics.
