Launched by Lyceum Education Group in collaboration with FT Longitude, the UK Learning Power 100 is the UK’s first index dedicated exclusively to learning and development at work. The ranking celebrates employers that are redefining how future‑ready workforces are built through sustained investment in skills, capability and career development.
The index ranks 100 UK organisations based on how effectively they are building skills, supporting career progression and preparing their workforce for the future. Organisations are assessed across six key areas, including leadership commitment to learning, workforce and skills planning, delivery of training, access to development opportunities, how learning impact is measured, and the strength of a culture of continuous learning.
Recognition in the UK Learning Power 100 reflects Access’s continued focus on embedding learning into everyday work and creating an environment where people can build confidence, capability and future‑ready skills throughout their careers.
Caroline Fanning, Chief Employee Success Officer at The Access Group, said:
“Learning plays a vital role in our culture and how we support our people to grow, adapt and build meaningful careers at Access, for now and the future. Being included in the UK Learning Power 100 is a real credit to the teams across our business who help make learning part of everyday working life.
In the AI era, our people understand through learning and hands-on experience that AI isn’t just about speed or scale, it’s about intent, responsibility and being curious about the opportunities it brings.
We’re proud of the progress we’ve made and remain focused on creating and investing in inclusive opportunities that support both personal development and long‑term business success.”
Graham Gaddes, CEO of Lyceum Education Group, commented:
“The organisations recognised in the UK Learning Power 100 demonstrate what is possible when learning and development is treated as a strategic asset rather than a support function. They are setting the standard for how investment in people can drive performance, resilience and long‑term growth, and they deserve real recognition for the progress they are making.
At Lyceum Education Group, we are proud to have commissioned this research. As the parent brand of BPP Education Group and a global portfolio of specialist education businesses, we work at the intersection of education, skills and workforce transformation and our experience gives us a unique vantage point on what great learning looks like in practice.
Our ambition is that the UK Learning Power 100 sets a new standard in learning and development, inspires continued progress across the market and raises expectations for what a good skills-first organisation looks like.”
