GCSEPod shortlisted at the Teach Secondary Awards 2026

Access GCSEPod has been shortlisted in the Curriculum Improvement category at the Teach Secondary Awards 2026, run by Teachwire, recognising its impact on teaching and learning in secondary schools across the UK. 

The Teach Secondary Awards celebrate the products, people and organisations making a measurable difference in secondary education. The Curriculum Improvement category looks for tools that demonstrably raise the quality of teaching and learning – not through features alone, but through evidence of real impact in the classroom. 

GCSEPod's entry focused on its impact across the whole teaching cycle – supporting teachers to plan and teach, and students to revise independently, with assessment data connecting the two so support reaches the students who need it most. 

That impact is independently verified. Regular GCSEPod users achieve, on average, 1.5 grades higher than non-users, with improvements evidenced across Pupil Premium, EAL and higher-attaining students. The platform holds a 4.7/5 rating on the independent review site EdTech Impact, where 98% of teachers say it improves student attainment. 

Used by over 1,700 secondary schools and colleges, GCSEPod covers 30+ subjects across KS3 and KS4, with content created in partnership with teachers and examiners. 

The Teach Secondary Awards 2026 winners will be announced on 9 November 2026.
