Newbridge Software, the company behind Newbridge EPoS, has been acquired by The Access Group through its hospitality division, Access Guestline. We have moved to strengthen our relationship with The Access Group’s hospitality division and give our customers deeper offerings with smart software integrations.

What does this mean for existing Newbridge customers?

Current customers will see no disruption to their service. Support, contracts and pricing remain unchanged. Over time, customers will gain access to enhanced integrations with Access Guestline’s hotel management platform and other Access Group solutions.

What is the difference between a till system and an EPoS system?

A till can manage sales only. This will only take your business so far, integrate an EPOS system and you can manage all aspects of your business from tableside ordering to inventory and staff management.

Is your system cloud based?

Yes, our system is cloud based. Cloud based EPoS systems process and store sales data online as opposed to locally on devices. The front-end POS interface is enabled for use on devices such as smartphones and tablets, and the backend can be accessed via web browsers. Cloud based is portable and you can check sales data in real time from any location as long as the systems are being updated in real time. This also allows for cheaper equipment costs as iPad and tablets can be used as the general interface.
