Important Notice for Homecare Providers

Milton Keynes City Council (MKCC) is currently not accepting new applications for adult homecare providers under the DPS, as we have reached the required threshold to meet current demand.

However, we are actively evaluating additional providers to support children with complex needs, where capacity remains limited.

Providers who were previously unsuccessful in their application or unable to join may be reconsidered after 12 months from the date of rejection, should there be a need to expand the provider pool to meet future care demands.

We thank all providers for their continued commitment to delivering high-quality care across Milton Keynes.

Milton Keynes Council are working with local landlords to offer Assured Shorthold Tenancy accommodation to families that have been made homeless by the current private rented sector. 

The council wants to work with private landlords to create shorthold tenancies of 6, 12 and 24 months for people who would otherwise remain in temporary accommodation. Landlords will be offered a cash incentive to both convert current temporary accommodation licenses to an AST and introduce new rental properties into the market.
