The Access Group recognised for marketing excellence at B2B Marketing Awards and ITSMA’s Marketing Excellence Awards.

The Access Group marketing team has been recognised for marketing excellence having been shortlisted as finalists in several categories in two significant marketing award cycles.

The B2B Marketing Awards are the largest and most prestigious B2B marketing awards, honouring and celebrating the most innovative, creative and forward-thinking marketers and their campaigns. They received over 1000 submissions across 28 categories this year and Access has been shortlisted for B2B Marketing Team of the Year, as well as for the Best Product Launch Campaign category for Access Early Pay.

Chris Marjara, CMO of The Access Group commented, “Our marketing department has grown significantly over the past three years and has successfully underpinned Access’s growth. I am really proud and delighted that we have been announced as finalists in two categories of the B2B Marketing Awards, especially the Team of the Year award. We’ve also been nominated as finalists in the ITSMA Marketing Excellence awards, which follows on from our recent announcement that we are also finalists within multiple categories of the CIM and Drum Awards – it’s really fantastic recognition for the team.”

“Our response to COVID-19 was the perfect example of how Access marketing takes a challenge, rises to it and over delivers, focusing on providing the best for our customers at a very difficult time. In just 10 working days the sectors that saw the biggest impact had delivered inbound content hubs with market insight and practical help; the standard and quality of the content, and subsequent results, was outstanding.”

Commenting on the Best Product Launch Campaign shortlist, Jo Howard, Director of Product Marketing for The Access Group said, “The marketing challenge for this launch campaign was recognising the sensitivity of talking about money – our research showed that employees would love the product, but employers would be instinctively reticent. Drawing in a buying audience with this sentiment meant that our marketing tactics had to show the true impact for a business, that it could be cost neutral, low touch – getting that across in our marketing comms was absolutely key.  It was an interesting marketing challenge to make it work, and we are thrilled that the B2B Marketing Awards have recognised our approach.”

The marketing team at Core HR, an Access Company, has been recognised as finalists in ITSMA’s 23rd Annual Marketing Excellence Awards Program. The program honours the marketing campaigns that have delivered superior performance in the four most critical aspects of marketing success: customer-focus, innovation, execution and business impact.

“As B2B organisations continue working their way through the COVID-19 disruptions, those that double down on marketing innovation and leadership are best positioned for long-term success,” said Dave Munn, President and CEO of ITSMA. “Once again, we have a standout group of award finalists this year that provide a wealth of insight and inspiration to help marketing leaders advance their programs and impact. The 26 organisations that have reached this stage exhibit the best qualities of focus, creativity and operational excellence in accelerating strategic growth and innovation.”
