Access acquires eLearning For You to secure UK Leadership position in the supply of Software and Services solutions for the Health and Care Sector

The Access Group, one of the UK’s leading providers of software, has today announced the acquisition of eLearning For You, a provider of eLearning solutions for the care industry. Access is one of the UK’s fastest-growing software companies with a customer-centric culture and a strong track record of providing an extensive software portfolio through its Access Workspace platform. The addition of eLearning For You to the Access Health & Social Care division, soon after the acquisition of Webroster earlier this month, provides Access with the most comprehensive set of solutions in the Health & Social Care sector, from a single provider.

eLearning For You was founded 10 years ago when Rob Cousins discovered a need in the market for eLearning in the care sector. Rob had been in the industry since 2003, establishing a Group of Care and Nursing Homes based in Poole. The need for staff training led to the establishment of a training division in the business called Affinity Training and, as the technology became available, Rob looked for an eLearning option for the Affinity business; unable to find one, he started eLearning For You. Since then, eLearning For You has gone on to become a market leader in eLearning for the Care sector with more than 420 customers leveraging their systems to provide quality training to their staff across more than 60 courses.
