You’re playing a key role in scaling our Global Operations Centre in Romania, what’s been the most rewarding part of that journey so far?
The most rewarding part has been seeing the real impact of our efforts, watching the GOC in Romania grow from an ambitious vision into a thriving, dynamic hub filled with incredibly talented individuals. I’m especially proud of how we’ve built a strong, diverse team that’s not only high-performing but also deeply connected to our culture and values. Knowing that I’ve had a hand in bringing in people who are now key to our success is both humbling and energising.
What’s a recent hiring challenge your team tackled and how did you overcome it?
One of the biggest challenges recently was scaling quickly while still maintaining quality, especially in highly competitive talent areas like digital sales and tech. We overcame it by getting creative, leveraging internal referrals, fine-tuning our employer branding to reflect our culture more authentically, and building stronger partnerships with hiring managers. It was a team effort that required agility, trust, and a deep understanding of what makes someone a great fit, not just on paper, but in how they’ll grow with us.
What’s a hobby or passion outside of work that people might not know about?
Outside of work, I’m passionate about makeup and skincare. I enjoy learning about the science behind products, staying current with trends, and seeing how attention to detail and self-care practices can build confidence, something I also value and encourage in professional environments.
What’s one trait you look for in every candidate, no matter the role?
Curiosity. Whether someone is applying for an entry-level role or a senior position, I always look for that genuine drive to learn and grow. Curious people ask the right questions, adapt faster, and are more likely to thrive in a constantly evolving environment like ours.
What’s something unique about the Romanian talent market that global teams might not realise?
The Romanian talent market is full of smart, multilingual professionals with a strong work ethic and a real hunger for growth. There’s also a remarkable adaptability here, people are eager to take on challenges and often bring both technical expertise and soft skills to the table. It’s a market that deserves more global visibility, and I’m proud to be helping shine a light on it.
If you weren’t in Talent Acquisition, what career path do you think you’d be in?
I think I’d still be in a people-focused field, maybe coaching or organisational development. I’ve always been fascinated by what motivates people and how we can create environments where they truly thrive. That’s at the heart of what I do now, and I imagine it would carry over into any path I’d take.
Is there any part of your experience with Access or more generally in your career that you would like to highlight or discuss in more detail as part of the Employee Spotlight series?
What stands out to me is the way Access has empowered me to grow, not just in my role, but as a leader. The opportunity to be part of the senior leadership team for the GOC and now lead the EMEA Talent Acquistion team is something I deeply value. It’s a company that listens, supports, and truly invests in its people. I’d love to continue sharing how we’re shaping the future of talent acquisition, and how we’re making Access a place where people do their best work.
