Chris Bayne

Chris Bayne 
Chief Executive Officer

Chris founded Armstrong Consultants in 1993 who were subsequently acquired by Access in 2008 and he progressed quickly to become CEO of The Access Group in 2011.

Chris has been the driving force of the Group’s uninterrupted and profitable revenue growth for 16 years. He has led each private equity investment round resulting in Access becoming one of the fastest growing UK headquartered SaaS software companies with global expansion into Asia Pacific.

Chris is a technology visionary and has been instrumental in the development of Access Workspace that is revolutionising business software targeting mid-market organisations giving them the freedom to do more.

Under Chris’ leadership Access has grown to more than 3,850 employees and he has created a culture in which employees love their work. He inspires people across the Group to strive for excellence and innovation, whilst having fun and working like a family.

Claire Scott’s team supports Access’ leaders to give our employees the freedom to perform, innovate & succeed, supporting employees to LoveWork.LoveLife at Access and pass this great experience onto our customers. 

Claire joined Access in October 2016, bringing extensive HR experience, primarily in the technology sector, running significant people organisations to drive engagement. Claire’s previous roles include Vice-President Employee Success (EMEA) at Salesforce and Director of HR at Cisco.

Rob Binns

Rob Binns
Chief Financial Officer

Rob Binns joined Access in June 2019, bringing over 20 years of finance experience in the technology sector, primarily software in a variety of roles at both private and public companies.

Rob’s previous roles include a variety of senior roles, including Group Treasurer at HP Inc. and Vice President and CFO, HP Software. Most recently Rob was CFO at Finastra, a large global financial services software company, where he oversaw Finance, Legal, Risk, and IT functions.

Rob leads the finance team at Access and is responsible for all finance, accounting and tax matters of the company, transforming the team in order to scale and support the growth and aspirations of the Access business.

Adam Brown

Adam Brown 
Chief Commercial Officer

Adam heads up a high performing team that source, negotiate, and integrate best of breed SaaS acquisitions that extend the breadth and quality of Access’ products and customer base. He and his team have worked on more than 30 acquisitions, all of which have delivered value add to Access’ product strategy, customer success and financial results.

Adam joined Access in 2011, from his previous role as EMEA CFO for Avid Inc, the world’s leading audio and video recording and editing software company.

Adam Brown brings experience in managing successful mergers and acquisitions in fast growing tech companies.

Jon Jorgensen

Jon Jorgensen 
Chief Sales Officer

Jon took up the position of Chief Sales Officer at Access in October 2010 and has since, through a re-imagination of the sales engine, delivered double digit organic growth year on year, as well as integrating multiple acquisitions into the Group.

Previously, Jon ran one of the largest Access resellers that was subsequently acquired in 2005, after which he became MD for the first direct sales and delivery model at Access. Jon has since been a major driving force in each of the Access Group private equity investment rounds.

Terry Taylor

Terry Taylor 
Chief Customer Success Officer

Terry oversees Access’ Services and Customer Success organizations that are responsible for helping customers transform their businesses through Access’ broad portfolio of software, subscription and services offerings.  Leading a team of over 1000+ certified Customer Success professionals around the world all focused on accelerating customer success.

Terry joined Access in 2015 from Salesforce, bringing a wealth of international leadership experience across a variety of senior roles and technology sectors including software, services, telecoms to Access.

Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President, Customer Success Group EMEA at Salesforce and was a member of the EMEA leadership team. There he was responsible defining and scaling the Customer Success function across EMEA during period of super growth, keeping Salesforce's 30,000+ customers happy. This included on-boarding, product adoption, best practices, training, customer support, professional services, partner certification, and developing long-term relationships. Prior to this Terry held leadership roles in sales, new product development and Partner/Channels business with Microsoft, AT&T and Citibank in Asia, USA and EMEA.

Gursaran Marjara

Gursaran leads a high performing team of over 100 marketers and business development executives delivering Access’ Marketing strategy - creating demand for its innovative products and positioning Access as the leading provider of Cloud technology for the mid-market that transforms the way business software is used, giving every customer the freedom to do more.

Gursaran joined Access in March 2017, bringing a top-class record of leading successful marketing teams at fast-growing tech companies.

Gursaran’s previous roles include Global Marketing Director for Stepstone - one of the earliest SaaS HR solution and Vice-President International Marketing at Kronos Inc- a $1 billion Workforce Management software company. Most recently, Gursaran was Chief Marketing Officer International for McGraw-Hill Education, driving the fast growth of digital learning solutions.

Steve Lane

Chief Technology Officer

Steve joined Access in July 2016 and is responsible for all Product Development at the company, leading a team of over 500 staff in Product Management and Software Development disciplines. He is a passionate believer and advocate on the power and flexibility of Cloud based software and SaaS resulting in the launch of the innovative Access Workspace technology which transforms the way business software is used, giving our customers the freedom to do more.

Steve Lane has over 30 years’ experience in the software industry. A developer at heart he has been creating and implementing software all his career for a wide variety of organisations. 

Steve’s previous roles include CTO at Experian Decision Analytics, CIO at Achilles and Vice President at FICO.

Kerry Agiasotis

Kerry Agiasotis
President, The Access Group, Asia Pacific

Kerry transitioned to The Access Group in June 2021, following the acquisition of Sage Group’s local businesses in Asia Pacific. In his role as President for Access Group Asia Pacific, Kerry is responsible for leading what has become a significant part of the company, growing rapidly organically and through acquisitions of businesses that are aligned towards driving value for customers, partners and employees.

A C-suite leader in global business, Kerry has over 30 years of experience in the IT and financial services industries. Prior to joining Access, Kerry was Executive Vice President of Sage Asia Pacific, where he was responsible for Sage’s continued growth in the Asia Pacific region including Australia.

Previous leadership positions include World-Wide President of Western Union’s Global Business Solutions division and executive roles at Oracle and Siebel Systems.

Kerry holds an Executive MBA degree from the Australian Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Computer Science at the University of New South Wales.

Alison Dodd

Alison Dodd 
Managing Director, M&A and Commercial (Access APAC)

Alison joined The Access Group in 2019 as the Managing Director for the Human Capital Management and Digital Learning & Compliance Divisions in the UK. In November 2019, Access acquired Attaché Software in Australia, a payroll and accounting software company servicing customers in Australia, New Zealand and the Islands. Alison returned to her native homeland, Australia in January 2020 to lead its first international expansion and to bring to the Australian and New Zealand market, the Access business management solution suite.

Alison has held several CEO roles across technology businesses in the UK, having relocated in 2005 while working at Microsoft. Most recently, Alison was CEO for T-Systems, a Deutsche Telekom company and Moorepay.

Alison brings a rich capability and knowledge of building businesses to deliver strong performance and growth. “The Australia and New Zealand region represents so much opportunity for our customers – new and existing – as well as our employees and the market overall. It’s great to be home, doing what I love.”

Simon Baines

Managing Director, Access Education and Not for Profit

In his role as Managing Director of Access’s Education and Not for Profit Divisions, Simon oversees all functions within both divisions. He brings a wide range of skills and knowledge to the teams ensuring they provide industry leading technology that gives our customers the freedom to make an impact to the lives of children and those in need.

Simon has spent the last 20 years in the technology sector working in both management roles and as a private equity investor.

Prior to joining Access in April 2019 Simon was Chief Executive Officer of Microgen Financial Systems, a UK-based international financial services software business.

Andrea Dunlop

Managing Director, Access Payments

Andrea joined Access to lead the newly formed Payments division in August 2020. She is passionate about the payments industry and a keen supporter of diversity and inclusion, as well as financial inclusion, championing and challenging the industry to deliver better financial products for the benefit of all.

Andrea is highly-regarded in the payments industry; she has been recognised with numerous industry awards including being named one of the ‘Most Influential Women in Payments in 2018’, and appearing in Payments Power 10, a list of the top ten influential contributors to the payments industry in 2016/17/18/19. Andrea is the Chairwoman of the Emerging Payments Association’s Advisory Board and Board member of the European Women in Payments Network. She also sits on several industry forums including the Payment Systems Regulator in the UK.

Andrea was formerly CEO of Merchant Acquiring, a UK/ EU regulated business she established in 2013 for the Paysafe Group. Prior to joining Paysafe, Andrea ran her own consultancy in the financial services and payments sectors. Previously she served 13 years in the Royal Air Force.

Charles Butterworth

Charles Butterworth
Managing Director, Access People

Charles joined Access in February 2021, to lead the Access Group’s human resources, payroll, learning & development and compliance teams and solutions. His role includes further integration of company acquisitions into the Access People business for the benefit of customers, partners and employees.

Charles is an accomplished leader of large teams across multiple locations and disciplines and has over 24 years’ experience in the technology, telecommunications and investment banking sectors, including as Managing Director, Experian UK & Ireland and EMEA. His responsibilities extended across all the data, analytics and software business of Experian in the wider region.

Prior to joining Experian, Charles enjoyed an eight-year career with Vodafone Group as Group M&A Director, Investor Relations Director, with his final position as Chief Executive, Vodafone Ireland, which he held for three years. Before Vodafone, Charles worked in investment banking at UBS Warburg, working across its telecoms, corporate finance, key accounts originations, project finance and credit management divisions.

Brendan Flattery

Managing Director, Access ERP

Brendan joined Access in April 2020 and brings insightful leadership to Access ERP which includes the highly successful Financial Management and Supply Chain divisions.

Brendan brings extensive industry experience having worked in software companies across a variety of industries for over 20 years. Brendan’s previous roles include President of Sage, Europe and Chief Commercial Officer at Zellis. Brendan is passionate about customers and has driven significant growth in previous roles through a laser focus on the customer experience.

An entrepreneur at heart, Brendan has also served as Managing Director of two venture capitalist backed technology businesses, as well as working for Private Equity backed businesses and running his own small business.

Doug Sawers

Doug Sawers
Managing Director, Access Legal

Doug joined the group in January 2020, initially focusing on the integration of acquisitions within the Human Capital Management and Digital Learning & Compliance divisions, before leading the launch of Access Legal from July 2020. The division is focused on providing exceptional product and customer success to the legal sector, with the July 2020 acquisition of Eclipse Legal Systems triggering the launch of the new division.

Doug brings 20 years of MD and CEO experience to Access, leading international digital businesses in the travel and human capital sectors. He brings wide experience to Access Legal, which is set to expand rapidly over the coming years, with a focus on a blend of best in class technology, employee engagement and customer involvement.

Doug’s previous experience includes leading Holiday Autos International and subsequently upon its sale to lastminute.com, several divisions of the online travel pioneer. He later spent several years leading the expansion of Ceridian’s UKI and Mauritius operations prior to and after their sale to SD Worx Group.

Steve Sawyer

Managing Director, Access Health & Social Care

Steve provides strategic leadership of one of the fastest growing divisions within Access, heading up a team of over 150 dedicated professionals in Health and Social Care, providing specialist solutions to more than 7,500 registered care providers giving them the freedom to deliver outstanding care.

Steve Sawyer joined Access in August 2013, with over 20 years’ experience in the Care and NFP sectors in a range of commercial, consulting and technical roles at software providers and client organisations.

In July 2014 Steve launched Access Health and Social Care, taking over as Managing Director for the division in July 2019.

Henry Seddon

Henry Seddon
Managing Director, Access Hospitality

Henry brings a broad range of skills and knowledge to his role as Managing Director of the Hospitality Division. He oversees all functions within the Hospitality division, to ensure the division succeeds in providing an industry leading hospitality management suite that transforms the guest experience.

Prior to joining Access in April 2018 Henry ran Duo Security in EMEA, which was sold to Cisco. He also previously held roles with Oracle and PeopleSoft.

Henry has spent the last 25 years in the technology sector in roles from development and support to sales, marketing and product at both large corporates to start-up companies.

Paul Vogel

Managing Director, Access Recruitment

Paul brings his extensive experience in the technology industry to the role and he has a history of developing cohesive winning teams, who have consistently delivered market-leading growth. He and his team are now working to change how the recruitment industry use technology to improve productivity and efficiency, positively impacting their profitability and giving them a competitive edge in a crowded market.

Paul joined Access in March 2017 and provides cross functional leadership and direction to the company’s Recruitment division.

Paul has worked in the technology industry for over 25 years, having previously held executive positions including Executive Vice President Global Sales, Marketing, Services and Support at Siemens PLM, and Chief Sales Officer at Unit4.

Nick Williams

Nick Williams 
Managing Director, Access Cloud Hosting

Nick is the managing director of the group’s Cloud Hosting Services Division and is also responsible for the strategic and operational direction of IT and cybersecurity across The Access Group. He and his team work hard to deliver the highest performing and best available platforms for our software and are working to ensure Access’ software customers trust us to host their IT infrastructure and software applications for better performance, greater efficiency and the freedom to do more.

Nick Williams joined Access in September 2018, from a previous role as CTO at Adapt Services Ltd.

Nick has a technical background with 25 years’ experience in the Internet Service Provider sector, operating at all levels of the business. Prior to his previous role Nick founded and operated his own company that was acquired by Adapt in 2012.
