Why We Became a Founding Partner
The decision to join as a Founding Partner was driven by our alignment with ADSS Cymru's vision for social care in Wales. The NSCC Network aims to create year-round opportunities for meaningful conversations, knowledge sharing, and collaborative innovation across the public, third, and private sectors. This resonates deeply with our own values and our commitment to working alongside local authorities to address the complex challenges facing social care today.
What This Means for Welsh Local Authorities
For Welsh local authorities, our participation as a Founding Partner means access to proven technology solutions designed specifically to support digital transformation in social care. Our flagship solution, Mosaic, provides comprehensive case management capabilities that help councils deliver person centred care while meeting statutory requirements and improving operational efficiency. Over the coming year, 17 out of 22 Welsh local authorities will be implementing Access Mosaic into their council setting.
Mosaic enables Welsh authorities to:
- Embed compliance into daily workflows, including Welsh Language Standards
- Support frontline practitioners with intuitive tools that reduce administrative burden
- Facilitate multi-agency collaboration through secure, integrated data-sharing
- Generate strategic insights through robust reporting and analytics
Beyond Mosaic, our broader portfolio, including Access TEC for technology enabled care provides Welsh local authorities with a connected ecosystem of solutions that support independent living, reduce hospital admissions, and improve outcomes for vulnerable residents.
We also know that health and social care work hand in hand in Wales, with many shared teams and service. Our health portfolio, including our Rio Electronic Patient Record and Intelligent Care Platform offer enhanced capabilities for the teams while giving them everything they need to work together for person centred health and social care.
Through the NSCC Network, we'll be sharing insights, case studies, and best practices that demonstrate how digital transformation can drive real improvements in service delivery. From technology enabled care solutions to comprehensive case management systems like Mosaic, such as Derbyshire County Council's implementation, which has streamlined their children's and adults' services, we're showcasing proven approaches that deliver results. We'll also be listening closely to understand the unique challenges facing Welsh authorities and working collaboratively to develop solutions that meet those needs.
What This Means for The Access Group
Becoming a Founding Partner reinforces our long-standing commitment to the Welsh social care sector. This partnership provides us with invaluable opportunities to engage more deeply with local authority leaders, understand the evolving policy landscape in Wales, and contribute meaningfully to conversations about the future of social care.
We recognise that digital transformation isn't just about implementing technology it's about supporting people, improving processes, and enabling better outcomes. Through the NSCC Network, we'll have the opportunity to collaborate with sector leaders, policymakers, and practitioners to shape initiatives that drive real, sustainable change across Welsh social care.
This partnership also positions us at the forefront of innovation in the sector. As a Founding Partner, we'll contribute our thought leadership, share our expertise in social care, including technology enabled care, and work alongside ADSS Cymru members to address critical challenges collectively.
