How long have you been at Access?
I’ve been at Access since May 2024, and wow, what a ride it’s been! It honestly feels like I blinked and suddenly a year flew by. I still remember being the new face in bootcamp, trying to soak everything in. Time just moves differently here, in the best way. When you’re surrounded by growth, community, and constant learning, the days feel fast but fulfilling. I’m genuinely grateful for everything I’ve experienced so far, and I’m excited for what’s next. It’s been a year, but it feels like home already.
What were your hobbies when you were younger? Do you still do them now?
Growing up, I was all about kickboxing, karate, biking, dancing, and of course—makeup! My dad had three daughters (I’m the eldest), so learning self-defence was non-negotiable. That discipline shaped a lot of who I am today—it taught me confidence, strength, and how to hold my own. On the other side, my mum being a beauty therapist meant I was always surrounded by skincare and glam. So naturally, makeup became a passion early on. I still love it to this day—expressing myself through movement and creativity has always been a part of me.
What was your dream job when you were a child?
When I was little, I always dreamed of being an air hostess. I loved the idea of travelling the world, exploring different cultures, and making new connections, all while working. There was something so glamorous and exciting about it! Looking back now, it totally makes sense, I’ve always had this passion for people, adventure, and new experiences. While my path has evolved, that wanderlust and love for connection is still such a core part of who I am.
How do you bring your personality to work?
I bring my personality to work by being unapologetically myself—always. No one else can be you, and I truly believe that’s your superpower. People can sense when you’re not being authentic, so why hide it? Embracing the little things that make me has helped me show up with confidence and add value wherever I go. Once I leaned into who I truly am, everything else started falling into place. I connect better, collaborate more openly, and genuinely enjoy showing up to work as the real me.
What’s been the highlight of your time at Access?
Hands down, the Christmas party has been my favourite moment at Access so far! It was more than just a celebration—it was a reminder of how incredible the culture here really is. The people I work with make every day better, and that night was just filled with laughter, joy, and connection. Access has built a community where visibility, acceptance, and genuine fun coexist with professionalism. It was one of those moments where you stop and think, “Wow, I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.”
What has been your biggest professional challenge in the last year?
Finding the right work-life balance has been my biggest challenge—but also my biggest learning curve. In a fast-paced environment, it’s easy to get caught up in doing more and being everywhere at once. But Access makes it so much easier to navigate that balance. The support, flexibility, and trust from leadership gave me the space to breathe and find a rhythm that works. I’ve learned that looking after your wellbeing is part of success—not separate from it. And now I’m better for it, both personally and professionally.
How do The Access Way behaviours (Curious, resilient, cares, flexible, accountable & commercial) show up in your life at work?
The Access Way values honestly align so well with how I work. I’m always curious—asking questions, learning, growing. Resilience shows up daily, especially in how we adapt to change and juggle different priorities. I feel cared for by my team, and that sense of support means everything. Flexibility is huge here, and leadership really allows us to work in a way that suits us. And I take accountability seriously—it’s about owning your growth, showing up, and making it happen. These values aren’t just words—they’re lived out every day.
How would you like to see Access grow in the future?
I’d love to see Access everywhere. There’s something so powerful about how we grow, not through flashy ads, but through the strength of our people and the brand we build from within. That kind of growth is organic, authentic, and lasting. It speaks volumes that our impact doesn’t need loud promotion, it shows up in the work we do, the way we show up, and the value we bring. I truly believe in what we’re building here, and I’m excited to see it ripple even further across industries, teams, and communities.
