MaxOptra serves over 450 customers optimising more than 6,000 vehicles daily across 26 industry sectors including food & beverage, construction, logistics, and waste management. Founded in 2012 and based in London with operations in Brighton, the platform addresses operational challenges for mid-market fleet operators managing distribution, service, and delivery operations.

The acquisition complements Access's ERP Specialised (Supply Chain & Logistics) portfolio, which focuses on solutions for businesses managing the flow of physical goods across supply chains. Route optimisation represents a capability that Access customers in waste management, distribution, and warehousing sectors have identified as an operational priority.

MaxOptra's platform combines AI-driven route planning algorithms with real-time vehicle tracking, electronic proof of delivery, and automated customer communications. The solution aims to reduce operational costs while improving on-time delivery performance for businesses operating fleets of 10 to 200+ vehicles. Integration partnerships with leading telematics and mapping providers enable the platform to work within existing fleet technology ecosystems.

Lucy Pamment, General Manager of Access ERP Specialised (Supply Chain & Logistics), commented: "We're delighted to welcome MaxOptra into our ERP division. Route optimisation addresses a requirement we consistently hear from customers across our waste management, distribution, and warehousing portfolios. MaxOptra's technology and focus on mid-market operators align well with our focus on businesses managing complex supply chain operations.

"MaxOptra's capabilities and the operational needs of our customer base create opportunities to explore end-to-end solutions spanning warehouse management, route planning, and business intelligence. MaxOptra's team brings strong domain expertise and a track record of customer success that we're excited to build upon."

Sanjay Gandhi, Managing Director of MaxOptra, added: "Joining The Access Group represents an exciting opportunity for MaxOptra and our customers. Access' investment capability and commitment to the sectors we serve provide the resources to accelerate our product development while maintaining the route optimisation excellence our customers rely on. The Access portfolio of supply chain solutions and their breadth across mid-market operations create possibilities for enhanced solutions and greater customer value."
