A report from legal technology specialist, Access Legal, that analyses transactional and business data of almost 5,000 firms practising conveyancing, has revealed how the top end of the market continues to grow its share of property transactions.

The conveyancing landscape: Data trend analysis and industry expert views on the conveyancing sector by Access Legal, shows that the conveyancing market was the strongest in 2021 than it’s been in more than a decade, with residential purchase cases exceeding 1 million for the first time since 2007 - largely thanks to the SDLT (Stamp Duty Land Tax) holiday.

The leading organisation management software provider, The Access Group, has completed a levy donation pledge to help the health and social care workforce recover from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, as part of a company-wide commitment to invest in people and skills. As part of the pledge, which opened in March 2022, the Health, Support and Care division (HSC) arm of the company has invested £100,000, helping to alleviate workforce pressures by enabling 86 health and social care apprenticeships across the country.

Hybrid working could be harming the prospects of young and low-salaried workers, according to new research. 

A recent survey of UK workers by the University of Nottingham commissioned by The Access Group has revealed stark differences between how people felt about their work.

Overall, while 59 per cent of Brits said they’re happy at work, 41 per cent reported feeling unhappy and depressed. Over half also reported feeling ‘worthless’.

Legal technology specialist, Access Legal, has released updated CQS training courses to help law firms maintain their Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) certification. 

The updates, which were introduced in December, are mandatory for law firms with Access Legal being the only accredited provider of the CQS certification outside of The Law Society.
