About Moran Chartered Accountants
Moran Accountants was founded in 1972 in Melbourne by Peter Moran. Very much a family affair, the senior partnership team now steering the firm consists of Peter’s children: Joe Moran and his twin sisters Zeina and Lily.
The accounting firm is a full-service agency consisting of 17 employees. Moran Accountants delivers the highest quality accounting services to individuals and businesses, including taxation, financial and management accounting, auditing, business advisory services, superannuation, and compliance for corporate businesses.
The challenge
We spoke with Joe Moran, CA Partner for Moran Accountants to give us some insight into why the firm had made the switch away to Access Accountants, formerly known as Handisoft Cloud.
Joe explained that the firm was struggling to find the right accounting practice management software solution to suit their needs.

The solution
After a lot of research and time spent trying to find cloud-based accounting practice management software that boasted the functionality the firm needed to operate the breadth of its’ services, they landed on Access Accountants.
Although it’s early days for Moran Accountants, who are as of writing going through implementation, the firm is optimistic that the decision to switch back to accounting practice management software that they’re comfortable with is the right decision to support their firm in effectively running the breadth of their services.
