Is Access Dimensions still supported or being phased out?

Access Dimensions is still supported for existing customers and all customers are recommended to ensure they are on V3, the most recent release. However, new deployments and feature development are focused on Financials, which offers a cloud-based, modern alternative.. The Access Group continues to offer support and migration services for Dimensions users for those wishing to move to the most current technology.

How do I migrate my data securely to the cloud version?

Our "FlightPath Destination" package provides comprehensive assistance for your migration. The process is managed by a "Migration Concierge" and a dedicated technical team, and includes the following key steps:

  • Assessment: Questionnaire and survey of your current environment
  • Project Initiation: Initial plan of dates for your migration
  • Provisioning: Provisioning the product environment and any required systems configuration

Is there a difference between Access Dimensions and Access Financials login?

Yes. Access Dimensions typically uses a local or hosted login, often tied to internal networks or VPNs. Access Financials uses a single-sign-on (SSO) system through "Access Evo." When your database is migrated, your users are invited to this new cloud-based environment. The new system is easier to manage as it removes the need to maintain costly on-premise servers.
