ERP Implementation That Actually Works for Construction

ERP projects can often fail in construction because they lack clarity. Ours don’t. With construction‑specific templates, clean data, role-based training, and tight governance, we take you from kickoff to go-live with confidence.

Implementation built around how contractors work

Access Coins Evo is built for construction, and our implementation approach is as specialized as the ERP itself. Our methodology is designed to help our customers mitigate delays and land value fast.

Discovery built around your goals

We run cross-functional workshops that challenge old processes and align your teams on measurable KPIs, from tighter financial control to cleaner WIP.

Ready‑made workflows for construction

Out-of-the-box industry templates for project structures, cost codes, progress billings, subcontractor workflows, and payroll slash configuration time while embedding proven best practice.

Governance that keeps projects on track

A clear set of roles, simple change controls, and regular check‑ins keep decisions moving and stop scope creep from slowing momentum.

Implementation of our ‘Core’ suite takes 7-10 months. Far faster than the industry average of 12-24 months.

Real results from specialty contractors

Liberty Electric

90% reduction in foremen admin tasks

Foremen buried in paperwork can now rely on their field team capturing time on mobile. One time entry updates payroll, job costing, and compliance automatically.

Field teams are now productive on site, not stuck in the back office.

A&G Services

$850K Service agreements captured in year one

Through tracking service agreements in spreadsheets, maintenance contract renewals were getting missed. When construction and service were connected on one platform, the revenue that was already there became visible.

$850K in service agreements were surfaced, now captured by Access Coins Evo.

P1 Construction

Invoice processing down from 1 week to 1 day

With the back office always chasing the field for cost data, invoicing was taking a week on average. After implementation, job costs were updated in real-time and invoices were issued within a day, accelerating cash flow.

“The silo from back office to field is now completely eliminated." - Morgan Lassise - P1 Construction

Access Coins Evo ERP Implementation FAQs

How long does an Access Coins Evo implementation typically take?

Typical implementation periods for Access Coins Evo for specialty contractors are:

  • Core – 7-10 months
  • Professional – 10-12 months
  • Enterprise – 12-18 months

Timelines vary by project scope, business size, and how many modules are being deployed. Most contractors see structured, phased implementations across several months, with each phase clearly planned in a central Project Initiation Document (PID). The plan is agreed upfront, so you always know what’s happening and when.

What happens during the Discovery phase?

We run workshops with your functional leads to understanding your real workflows, pain points, and goals. From there, we define requirements, agree the scope, identify risks and constraints, and build your PID and project plan. This creates full alignment before configuration begins.

How do you make sure the solution fits construction workflows?

We use construction-specific templates to give you a proven baseline for project structures, cost codes, financials, subcontractor workflows, and payroll. We then refine these to match how your business operates so you’re not starting from a blank page.

How is data migration handled?

We work with you to audit legacy data, identify what should be migrated, and help clean it so only accurate, usable information enters the new system. Clean data is essential for reliable reporting and adoption, which is why data quality checks happen at every stage.

How involved does our team need to be?

You’ll need a project manager, functional leads for each area, and subject matter experts who can validate workflows and test the system. The more available and empowered your internal team is, the smoother the implementation.

What slows ERP implementations down?

Common risks include unclear decision-making, stretched internal resources, competing BAU responsibilities, and late requirement changes. Our governance model - clear roles, structured change control, and regular steering meetings - keeps momentum up and scope stable.

How do you manage change within our business?

Change management is embedded throughout the process: role-based training, superuser development, documentation, and a user portal for ongoing guidance. This ensures teams understand not just the system, but how their day-to-day processes will evolve.

What is User Acceptance Testing (UAT)?

UAT is where your team verifies that workflows, permissions, financial calculations, compliance rules, and reports work as expected. With your key users actively testing the system, issues are caught early, long before launch.

What support do we get after launch?

You move into a Hypercare period where our delivery team stays close to resolve issues quickly and stabilize usage. After that, you transition into long-term support backed by our Customer Success team.

What is included in the Premier Customer Success Plan?

You get a dedicated Customer Success Manager, online and telephone support, and access to a Lead Technical Support Engineer. You can also access consultancy for reporting, KPIs, workflow improvements, and automation as your needs evolve.
