The Access Group Charity of the Year program is our way of giving back to causes that are close to the hearts of our people. This year we’re supporting the NCSM to help provide education, care and support services to more than 700,000 people affected by cancer in Malaysia every year.

NCSM was nominated by Access employee Walter Maradan, whose father received support from the charity during his battle with cancer.

“I am very excited to be working with the National Cancer Society Malaysia to improve education and awareness of cancer and help provide important services to people with the disease,” said Walter.

Through a wide number of fundraising events across our Malaysian offices and online, we’re encouraging all our people to raise funds for NCSM. All funds raised will support the charity’s Adult’s Home of Hope project to offer accommodation, as well as holistic and practical support services, to low-income patients and carers receiving treatment in Malaysia.
