November 2021: Access Legal acquires Legal Bricks
Access Legal acquires Legal Bricks, a leading provider of conveyancing searches and property related services to the legal sector.
Launched in 2017, the technology provided by Legal Bricks offers solicitors a customised online property search platform that simplifies and speeds up the conveyancing process – reducing conveyancing transaction times by up to 30 per cent.
Legal Bricks also provides a full suite of conveyancing and Anti Money Laundering products, which reduce law firm dependencies on the use of multiple systems, resulting in a quicker and more transparent process for all.
The acquisition of Legal Bricks complements Access Legal’s vision of creating a first-of-its-kind digital workplace for law firms, bringing together a comprehensive suite of legal software solutions and services delivered through Access Workspace for Legal.
June 2021: Access Legal acquires Oosha
Oosha, with over 120 customers, has become one of the UK’s leading cloud providers – serving the legal, accounting and other sectors.
The acquisition comes at a time when professionals, including solicitors, lawyers and in-house legal teams more than ever need to be able to concentrate on their work, without worrying about the technology, because it just works.
With the addition of Oosha, Access Legal’s ability to provide customers with further IT services including cloud migration is significantly bolstered and as well as accelerating its journey to bring together its legal software onto one single-sign on platform accessible anywhere anytime.
July 2020: Access acquires DPS Software
Access Legal strengthened their offer to the market with the acquisition of DPS Software, a UK leader in SaaS based practice management software for legal practices and in-house legal departments, with a focus on firms with between 10 and 200 employees.
Access Legal’s suite of solutions now covers a vast array of legal processes for practices with between 10 and 500 employees and is now one of the top 3, UK based providers of software, to the UK legal sector.
June 2020: Access acquires Eclipse Legal Systems
Access Legal further expands its Legal solutions suite and extends its presence in the Legal Sector with the addition of Eclipse Legal Systems.
The acquisition enhances Access’s existing presence in the legal sector, which at this point extends beyond 2,500 organisations, across legal practice and internal legal departments, across multiple verticals. The addition of Eclipse Legal Systems extended the Access Legal suite into the Case & Practice Management space.
April 2019: The Access Group acquires Unicorn
Unicorn, as the UK’s leading provider of learning technology solutions, brought market leading name Socrates Training to The Access Group, making it the UK’s lead provider of online training, compliance and risk management for the Legal sector.
In March 2019 we began building the Access Legal Division
First came the acquisition of Riliance, an online training, compliance and risk management solution provider with a market leading position in the Legal Sector.
Riliance’s cloud based, feature rich and easy to use software enabled it’s 1,200 customers to manage their individual online training, risk management and compliance requirements.
With investment from Access, the Riliance solution strengthened their position in both the Legal and Financial Services sectors.
