The business consists of 14 employees and specialises in accounting, tax, financial and business planning, and self-managed super fund administration.

 

Power 2 Brisbane Pty Ltd needed an easier and more efficient way of gaining data-driven insights into its clients’ businesses.

Director of Power 2 Brisbane Pty Ltd, Daniel Hay, says the business previously had to extract client data manually in MYOB Accountright. “We have quite a few clients that use MYOB Accountright, and the reports we generated from it provided a large amount of information that was hard to manage.”

Daniel says the main benefit of ZAP Data Hub was how quick it was to gain clearer insights into their clients’ businesses. “With Data Hub, we can connect directly to our clients’ MYOB Accountright software, to access their critical data and gain instant insights into their businesses. The dashboards in Data Hub are simple to read and make it easy for us to better service our clients.”

“For instance, we can help our clients improve their cash flow by accessing critical information while we are going through their accounts with them. The accounts receivable and accounts payable dashboards provide us with data instantly, like the average number of days it’s taken for a client to be paid. Or if a client has an expense, you can drill down on all the entries the client made in MYOB to see what is contributing to it. Having instant access to this kind of detailed information really helps us steer our clients in the right direction.”

The second major benefit of ZAP Data Hub, says Daniel, is the ability to use the solution from anywhere, at any time. “Being able to access Data Hub online, be it on a smartphone, tablet or laptop, is very handy. We can bring up a client’s data and go through it with them wherever we may be.” 

Daniel is also impressed by ZAP Data Hub’s user-friendly interface and functionality. “Data Hub is very easy to use. You simply log in using a browser, choose a client’s MYOB file, designate what you want, and the reports pretty much generate straight away.”

“It’s easy to set up a report template and automatic emails help keep key people in our business informed.”

And of the technical support provided by Access, Daniel says: “It’s been really good. I can email a support consultant and they get back to me within the hour or the next day. Any issues we raise are usually fixed within a day, so the support has been great.”
