How does it work?
All Access EarlyPay withdrawals are funded by Access and then collected from the team member when you run your normal payroll. Each withdrawal has a small transaction fee paid by the employee.
Costs for on-demand pay with Access EarlyPay are very small. We charge a 20p per employee monthly license fee, which we will collect at the end of every month via Direct Debit.

On-demand pay is a service that allows team members to access a proportion of their wages at any point in the payroll cycle instead of having to wait for a weekly or monthly salary payment. This service is particularly useful for employees working in service industries such as hospitality or care where shift patterns may vary, and employees require additional flexibility around payment dates.
On-demand pay has multiple benefits for both team members and employers: -
- Improved financial wellbeing as staff have more control over when and how they receive accrued earnings.
- On-demand wages can be withdrawn using a mobile app which shows total salary earned to date and salary available to withdraw.
- On-demand pay can be accessed instantly – once an amount has been selected for withdrawal it is transferred to the employees account instantly.
- A small transaction fee is normally applied each time an employee withdraws salary from an on-demand app.
- Employers benefit from improved productivity and staff engagement.
How does it work?
Access EarlyPay integrates with your Access People for hospitality time and attendance and payroll systems. This enables all employee and pay period data to be automatically populated into the system, in real-time.
- Your hospitality staff draw down a percentage of their earned pay through the mobile app, and pay a clear and simple fee for using the service
- Access pays the money directly into the employee’s bank account, meaning it is cash neutral for operators and has no impact on your normal payroll processes
- When payroll is run, Access retrieves the EarlyPay drawdowns and fees, which will show under deductions on the employee’s payslip
- We will send an invoice and automatically collect the license fee at the end of each month
