Shortlist success for Access Accounting in 2006 Accountancy Age Awards

software developer, Access Accounting has been shortlisted in the
2006 Accountancy Age Awards for Excellence - 'Mid-tier Software
Package of the Year' category. Twice winner of the awards, the
Colchester-based company won this category in 2005 with its
flagship Access Dimensions solution. It has also been the only
provider to be shortlisted every year since the awards first
began.
John Beech, managing director for Access Accounting commented,
'We're delighted that Access Dimensions has been shortlisted again
this year. I believe this is down to the hard work of our teams,
who are always looking for new ways to enhance our solutions. It's
thanks to them that we are one of only four contenders for the
award."
Now in their 12th year, the awards are recognised as the voice
of the industry and reward the contribution of individuals, teams
and organisations, their performance and results. The panel of
influential judges will include Sir Digby Jones, former head of the
CBI and now an adviser at Deloitte, Mark Holland, head of Baker
Tilly's IT advisory services, Dr Paul Booth, technical manager of
the ICAEW's IT faculty and Conrad Young, Deloitte's head of
technology and corporate tax.
The winner will be announced at the Accountancy Age awards
ceremony on Wednesday 15th November at London's Battersea Park
Arena.
