Armstrong Consultants to boost sales team with Sales Director appointment

Harpenden, UK - 1st August 2007 - Leading software supplier, Armstrong Consultants, has boosted its sales team with the promotion of Steve Berridge to Sales Director. The appointment comes in recognition of Steve's long service and consistently outstanding success as a key member of the sales department.

Steve is Armstrong's longest serving employee with 13 years at the company. He joined after completing his A levels in 1994 and during his time has worked up from answering the phone, managing the accounts and taking helpdesk enquiries to becoming the first member of the sales team in 1997.

As Sales Director, Steve's main responsibility will be to further develop Armstrong's sales strategy, as he takes a more direct role in the future growth of Armstrong, By applying his vast sales experience, he will be advising the Board and leading the 10-strong sales team towards even greater success in the months and years to come. Steve will also develop a mentoring programme for new and future members of sales team, guiding them on the Armstrong sales methodology - which he has been instrumental in developing over the past 10 years. He will however, still remain very much a hands-on member of the sales department and continue to drive new business sales for Armstrong.
