Armstrong Consultants launches Custom Forms at Softworld 2007
Harpenden, UK - 1st October 2007 -
Armstrong Consultants will be launching Custom Forms at Softworld
Accounting and Finance Exhibition, taking place at the NEC,
Birmingham from 17-18 October 2007. Working within Armstrong's own
FocalPoint product, the creation of Custom Forms is a brand new
development that will bring greater flexibility and freedom to a
company's workflow.
FocalPoint is fast becoming the PSA software of choice for many
businesses across the UK's professional services sector. It offers
web-based modules such as project management, time recording,
expense management, CIS, absence, as well as reporting.
Steve Berridge, Sales Director at Armstrong Consultants commented
on the addition of Custom Forms to FocalPoint and the benefits of
this new functionality: "Most organisations have some sort of
spreadsheet that is used to capture business-specific information,
such as an Accident Log, Accident Claim Forms, Safety / Risk
Assessments, Employee Forms, etc. Many companies also have strict
approval processes in place for the creation of new product part
codes, customers, and suppliers. All of this can now be done in
FocalPoint, and dependent on the type of form, can now link back
into the customer, supplier or employee record."
Steve also explained the business benefits of Custom Forms. "They
give customers the ability to design any forms they like within
FocalPoint, and data can be captured in whatever way they need.
Anything from drop-downs, tabs, fields, documents, attachments and
notes - so it means the system is very configurable according to
the customers' needs."
Custom Forms can link to other Custom Forms within FocalPoint,
e.g., an Employee Form could hold all sorts of personal information
about each employee, and could then link to another Custom Form
such as a Job History Form (to access data on professional
development, training courses), thus creating a tailored,
web-based, HR system if required.
In addition Armstrong staff will also be demonstrating Access
Accounting award-winning Dimensions, FrontRange's GoldMine CRM
system and INVU document management on the stand.
