Armstrong Consultants expands into 2008 with a new Southern office & director appointment
Harpenden, UK - 1st February
2008 - Leading software supplier, Armstrong
Consultants, is continuing its expansion by appointing Alex Reeves
to the Board of Directors. Alex's primary role is to head up the
new office in Kent, as well as adding his considerable business
acumen to the Armstrong Board.
Based in Sevenoaks, Alex will be expanding Armstrong's client base
in the south, servicing East Anglia, South London, the South East
and across to the Solent area - bringing the number of Armstrong
offices to four. The office already has a team of sales and project
consultants working with existing customers in the area, as well as
working to secure new projects. All of Armstrong's services and
products will now be readily available to clients across the South
East, including Accounting & Finance, Project Management, CRM,
Service and Document Management software solutions.
Alex joins Armstrong from Ernst & Young, and has over 10 years'
experience of business development, systems implementation and
operations in a multi-channel retail and FMCG environment. At Ernst
& Young Alex developed consulting propositions for Retail and
FMCG clients, focusing on management of physical and financial loss
in the supply chain. Working with the existing E&Y technical
teams, Alex developed, sold and delivered advisory projects to
clients, and managed the cross-sell into traditional E&Y
services. Prior to this he held senior advisory roles at Itim
Consulting, KPMG, BMW Rover Group and Logica.
He graduated from Aston University in 1992 with a BSc (Hons) in
Computer Science, where he met the four founding directors of
Armstrong Consultants, as well as Piers McLeish, Managing Director
of Armstrong's northern office.
Chris Bayne, Managing Director at Armstrong commented: "2007 was a
fantastic year for Armstrong, and we are thrilled to build on this
success in 2008, with the launch of a new office. The opening of
the northern office in October 2004 has been a huge success -
allowing us to dedicate a whole team to regional projects and we
are confident this will also be the case in the South East."
The board have known Alex since our university days and we look
forward to working with him on a business level and benefiting from
his vast corporate experience."
