Access to showcase latest not-for-profit software at CHASE
Solutions include web-enabled HR, time and expense management
and workflow solutions
Colchester, UK - 09 February 2010 - Access, the mid-market
consulting, software and solutions provider, will be showcasing its
latest
not-for-profit software solutions at CHASE to help charities
increase efficiency and reduce complexity and costs across their
organisations. The solutions being demonstrated will include web-enabled HR software, time
and
expense management and workflow
forms solutions. The event is set to take place at the Business
Design Centre in London from 23rd - 24th February 2010; Access will
be on stand 38.
Access solutions provide powerful organisation-wide
functionality which integrates seamlessly into existing
applications such as Raiser's Edge, Gift Aid Manager and Caseware.
It also has many well-known not-for-profit customers including the
Prostrate
Cancer Charity, the
Competition Commission and the Royal Philharmonic
Orchestra.
Jon Jorgensen, a director for Access, commented, "Not-for-profit
customers, like their commercial counterparts, want software
systems that talk to each other. They know that having a single
system, operating in real-time, will eliminate re-keying of data,
improving accuracy as a result. Prospective customers are saying to
us that they don't fully trust the quality of the information in
their existing disparate systems. It does cause them great concern,
and every charity is painfully aware that they stand accountable
for how their funds are spent.
"This is where Access can help because we have both the
solutions and consultancy expertise to help them overcome the
issues they face and obtain full visibility of information
throughout their operation. We can help them reduce complexity and
increase efficiency throughout every area of their organisation, so
staff and volunteers are focusing on the work that really
counts."
The Access solution also supports charity-specific reporting
such as SOFA/SORP; project, grant, fund, and event management;
automatic apportion of costs, and the tracking of restricted and
unrestricted funds. Jon continued, "We can also help organisations
keep a track of their carbon footprint, with our
Accounting for Carbon Emissions solution. Our solutions come
with this functionality built in, providing the tools to easily
measure and report on their carbon emissions. This shows donors
that the charity is serious about the green agenda and is being
proactive in addressing its impact on the environment."
In addition to meeting the charity's finance function
requirements, the modular-based system makes it much easier for
organisations to account for staff activity, even if they are
always on the move or based at remote sites. It allows them to
enter timesheets and expenses, and raise purchase orders through a
single online interface. The Access solution also
incorporates workflow technology which can be flexed to the way
that a charity wishes to operate, putting an end to time wasted
paper-chasing.
