Access Technology Group recruits Business Development Manager

John SummersColchester, UK - 11th September 2006 - Access Technology Group, the parent company behind award-winning Access Accounting, has recruited John Summers as Business Development Manager to help support business growth and development across the group.

John, who will work alongside Alistair O'Reilly, MD for Access Technology Group, commented, "This is a tremendous opportunity and an exciting time for the group, which owns four dynamic businesses with extremely talented people. There are tremendous opportunities for growth which we aim to capitalise upon.

"Part of my role will be to provide the tools and processes to allow the MDs of each of our companies to concentrate their efforts on developing their business," he continued.

John, who has an MBA from Southbank University, joins Access Technology Group following 14 years with Barclays Bank, bringing with him a wealth of experience in governance, sales and marketing. John was responsible for running national campaigns and providing tactical support to senior managers. In recent years, he worked in Barclay's corporate banking section as a business strategist.  

"John will be a great asset to the group, helping to advance our business strategies and ensuring that our four businesses work together for mutual benefit, making the most of their synergies," said Alistair O'Reilly.

Access Technology Group was set up in January 2006 as the parent company of Access Accounting, which sits alongside its three acquisitions: Access Supply Chain, Access Accounting Ireland and Asyst Solutions.  The group is proactive in seeking new investment opportunities.
