Access Technology Group acquires Armstrong Consultants

Colchester, UK - 7th April 2008 - Access Technology Group today announces a significant step forward, consolidating its position as the UK's leading mid-market business and accounting software supplier. The acquisition of major software specialist, Armstrong Consultants, sees the Group close to achieving its 2010 milestone of 30m turnover - more than a year earlier than planned.

For the second year running, Armstrong Consultants has been listed in the top twenty of the Sunday Times list of 'Best Small Companies To Work For'. The business fit between the two organisations is excellent and there are no plans for any redundancies on either side.

The Access Technology Group aims to grow its business to 100m turnover by 2017 by acquiring vertical market software houses - Armstrong Consultants is very successful in the professional services and service management markets. Customers currently served by the award-winning software provider will see their existing close working relationships further strengthened and supported by Access Accounting, a company that has consistently increased its customer base since it was founded in 1991.
