Access showcases latest solutions at Service Management Expo
Colchester, UK - 03 August 2010 - Access, the
mid-market consulting, software and solutions company, is
showcasing the latest version of Access Service
Manager at the Service Management Expo 2010. This integrated
solution helps businesses to automate processes and manage complex
schedules, track outstanding jobs, raise quotations, match
engineers to the most appropriate jobs, provide call support, and
ensure chargeable work is accurately billed for - all from one
system. It also offers a customer self-service facility over the
web, saving hours of manual processing by speeding up the
availability and analysis of information.
Following the success of the solution at the 2009 event, Access
returns with a version upgrade. The latest update includes; a
customer postcode address search wizard, an improved call logging
facility which suggests the nearest skilled engineer, and
enhancements to the engineer database which generates a purchase
order in Access Dimensions when using a sub-contractor.
Ket Chauhan, director at Access, said, "The Access Service
Manager solution allows businesses to be much more time efficient
and take a more coordinated approach; from ensuring there's greater
control over daily tasks to making sure KPIs and performance
measures are being achieved. Efficiency is also paramount to help
maintain and improve customer experience and service levels. This
wouldn't be possible, given the growing complexities faced by
mid-market organisations, without the right systems in
place."

The explosion of affordable, web-based technology means that workers on the move need never be out of touch with their co-workers or customers. What's more, this two-way data exchange between the company and its business system means that web-based data capture can cut costs and increase efficiencies in areas well beyond finance.
