Dimensions recognised as leading accounting software at Construction Accounting Software of the Year

Colchester, UK - 25 November 2009 - Access, the recently rebranded mid-market consultancy and business software developer, is enjoying a season of awards. The company has received its fourth award this quarter at the Construction Computing Magazine Awards 2009.  Access Dimensions business and accounting software solution beat strong competition from Sage Construction to win Construction Accounting Software of the Year.  The award ceremony was held at Guoman Tower Hotel in London.

Access initially received the award in 2007 and this year reclaimed its title.  It impressed judges with its comprehensive solution, helping organisations address issues throughout the business.  One judge commented "Access Dimensions has long been recognised as the premier accounting software for the construction industry, and this award confirms its top status."

Most recently, Access received the 'Mid-tier Software package of the Year' award for Dimensions at the Accountancy Age Awards 2009.The award shortly follows Access' success at the Sift Media Software Satisfaction Awards at which is was crowned 'Green Software Provider of the Year' for its Accounting for Carbon Emissions tool.  Access also received esteemed recognition in The Manufacturer of the Year Awards when Cheshire-based customer Renthal won the 'IT in Manufacturing' award for its Access Supply Chain solution, dramatically reducing lead times to customers. 

Following its rebrand on July 1st this year, Access has successfully won a significant number of six figure deals - including its largest deal ever.  All the awards won this year reflect the successful re-engineering of the company and elevation of the brand from a provider of packaged software to a consulting, software and solutions house.
