Access Accounting releases upgrade for payroll solution

Colchester, UK - 6th April 2006 - Access Accounting, the award-winning accounting and business software developer, has released its upgrade for Access Payroll for the new financial year.

Access Payroll 4.20a allows companies to produce a generic payroll reporting file, containing all the information required by the HMRC Employer Compliance Team when carrying out pre-visit checks.

Pip Trowles, Access Payroll Product Manager, commented: "There is no legal obligation to include this functionality but we felt that the time saving aspect would be a huge benefit to our users. Essentially it allows Access payroll users to provide all the required information for the compliance visit with just a few keystrokes. The alternative would be to run off a whole suite of reports and enquiries on a reactive basis which is a very labour intensive process."

Access Payroll 4.20a also allows retrospective NIC calculations to be made for employees who are paid irregularly and former students can now advise their new employer to make student loan deductions via Statement D, which has been added to the P46 form.

Time to reduce your profit leaks?Time to reduce your profit leaks?

Whilst “profit leaks” within businesses across the UK are proving a huge cause for concern - and many companies currently do not have the visibility to identify inefficiencies within their end-to-end operations - there is wide recognition that significant savings can be made by plugging these leaks.
