Access Accounting releases next generation business analytics tool

Colchester, UK - 8th May 2006  -Access Accounting has announced the release of a powerful new business intelligence tool as part of Access Office Integration 3. Access Analytics allows financial data to be easily interrogated and analysed providing on-demand reporting capabilities for managers - without the need for direct access to the accounting package, Access Dimensions.

Access Analytics provides a simple three-step wizard for users to interrogate and create reports from their accounting data using Microsoft Excel. The required information is simply selected from a list and then automatically exported into Excel where pivot tables and charting tools can be utilised.

Access Analytics takes this a step further by creating data cubes which allow managers to drill down to specific data via interactive management summaries incorporating smart tag elements.

Access Office Integration 3 also allows users to synchronise their Microsoft contacts, tasks and diary with the CRM solution and offers mail merge facilities for Microsoft Word.
