Access Accounting raises funds for Sue Ryder Care
Colchester, UK
- 6th February 2006 - Colchester-based
Access Accounting has raised more than £2,100 for Sue Ryder
Care's The Chantry in Ipswich.
The company's Social Committee organised a variety of events
throughout 2005 including a last hour appeal, where staff members
could donate their last working hour of the year to fundraising
efforts.
Committee member, Julie Hammick, commented, "All the staff here
at Access play an important part in choosing which charity we
should raise money for throughout the year. The Chantry, which is a
specialist centre dedicated to caring for people with neurological
conditions, such as strokes, Multiple Sclerosis or Parkinson's
disease, was one of two very good causes that we decided to
support."
The committee also donated the same amount to the Multiple
Sclerosis Colchester and District branch.
