Access Accounting raises funds for MS Society

Colchester, UK - 6th February 2006 - Local software house, Access Accounting, has raised more than £2,100 for the Colchester and District branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

The Stratford St Mary based company's Social Committee organised a variety of events throughout 2005 including a last hour appeal, where staff members could donate their last working hour of the year to fundraising efforts.

Committee member, Julie Hammick, commented, "All the staff here at Access play an important part in choosing which charity we should raise money for throughout the year."

"A number of staff had friends and family members with multiple sclerosis, so the charity is one which is very close to home," she continued.

The Social Committee also donated the same amount to a further charity, Sue Ryder Care in Ipswich.
