Access Accounting partners with ICAEW IT Faculty for Excel roadshows
Colchester, UK - 28th September 2007 -
Business and accounting software vendor Access Accounting has
joined forces with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in
England and Wales (ICAEW) to support its series of 11 roadshows.
The IT Faculty Autumn Roadshow 2007, which commences on
3rd October in London, will provide practical courses on
getting the best from spreadsheets.
Dr Paul Booth, technical and development manager at the ICAEW's
IT Faculty, commented, "Excel is still a firm favourite with the
finance function for analysing, manipulating and presenting data so
the two courses have been designed with this in mind. Getting the
data from the system by importing from or linking to the accounting
solution is something that Access Accounting appreciates only too
well. We are delighted that they have chosen to support us."
The courses will provide valuable experience of working with
data using Excel functions as well as more advanced techniques for
analysis and interactive reporting.
Mark Fermor, dealer sales manager for Access Accounting,
commented, "Partnering with the ICAEW is a natural choice for us.
We understand that Excel is an essential everyday tool for
analysing data and producing reports on demand - these courses will
help empower finance staff to get the most from spreadsheets,
putting them firmly in the driving seat."
