Computer users who are currently running the recently-launched Vista operating system but miss certain shortcuts are being advised that they can still use the 'run' command.
The shortcut, which was used in previous versions of Vista to launch programs quickly, can also be found on the new operating system by typing the word 'clean' into the search box, the Richmond Times Dispatch advises.
It is also possible to access the shortcut from the desktop by customising the computer's properties via the start menu.
Users are advised to scroll through their customise menu and check the box entitled Run Command, which will pin the shortcut to the right of their start menu.
In addition, the writer also suggests that PC users who are struggling to make their Vista systems configure their digital cameras should configure the devices to use the Picture Transfer Protocol standard rather than Windows Portable Devices.
Related reports state that Microsoft is currently examining a hack which through which cyber criminals managed to overcome some of Vista's anti-piracy features.
