Competition set up to find exciting accountants

A competition has been launched to find the most exciting accountant in the UK.

Accountancy software provider KashFlow has set up the competition and is inviting book-keepers to tell all about their extreme hobbies by accessing the company's website.

Then on January 1st 2007, an independent adjudication panel will assess the entrants before deciding who deserves to be awarded the title of most exciting accountant in the country.

However, there is a more serious side to this light-hearted competition; the winner's prize is set to gain the services of marketing company 10 Yetis for a six month period, with a remit of boosting the accountant's industry profile.

Consequently, it is thought that gaining the distinction could ultimately help the prize winner to attract the attentions of big-money clients.

Kashflow aims to provide accountancy solutions that help small businesses conduct audits themselves.

However, their products are also designed to be exportable into Sage software, as used by a number of accountancy firms.
